29-10-2013: Ghulam Nabi was martyred on Double Road:
According to the reports, earlier this afternoon the terrorists attacked on a Shia Momin Ghulam Nabi and Martyred him on the spot. The terrorists fled from the scene and the body of the martyr was shifted to Civil Hospital.
22-10-2013: The spokesman of Shia Movement Pakistan (SMP), Dr. Ghulam Raza Jaffary was Martyred:
Dr. Ghulam Reza Jafari, the spokesman for the Shia Movement Pakistan, came under attack in the busy Shalimar area in Lahore. The gunmen fled after the attack on Ghulam Reza, who was the legal advisor of Allama Ghulam Raza Naqvi, a Shia leader who has been behind the bars for over 16 years in false cases.
Dr. Ghulam Raza Jafari who had been waging legal battle to get Allama Ghulam Raza Naqvi out of jail but was assassinated apparently for his legal battle to secure the release of Raza Naqvi.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Shiite groups have blamed the banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba for the attack.
Shia parties and leaders have condemned the targeted murder of Dr Raza and demanded of the government and judiciary to do justice with Shiites.
They said that on one side, Shiites have not been protected from the perpetrators of the pogrom/genocide and on the other, they are being implicated in false cases.
The Martyr's body was later shifted to Quetta for its funeral proceedings and later buried at Ganj e Shuhadah, Bihisht e Zainab s.a. (Hazara Qabristan). Shaheed Dr. Ghulam Raza belonged was Hazara Shia and belonged to Syedabad area of Quetta.
